Nordic App Studio is an independent iOS studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, founded by Ferdinand Drobik. We build a small family of handcrafted apps that work on your device, without tracking, ads, or accounts. That is the whole business: a few good apps, made carefully, answering to the people who use them.
Every app is designed, drawn, written, and built in-house. The icons and illustrations are drawn by hand rather than pulled from a kit, and the apps lean on Apple's own frameworks instead of a stack of third-party libraries. The result is slower to make and easier to trust: fewer moving parts, fewer surprises, and a look that belongs to the app rather than to a template.
The privacy promise is not a policy bolted on at the end. The apps are built so there is simply nothing to collect: no analytics, no trackers, no third-party SDKs, and in most cases no network at all. Your photos, your words, your breath, and your progress stay on your device. Where an app uses AI, it runs on the device too.
There are no investors and no servers holding your data. Some apps are free, and some have a clear, plainly priced option. Either way the studio is paid by the people who use the apps, not by advertisers and not by selling data. That keeps the incentives simple and pointed in the right direction.
