German practice that corrects your mistakes as you chat

Yes. When you write German in KLUG, its on-device AI reads what you sent, picks up to two mistakes worth fixing, and shows each one as a small correction: your original wording, the corrected version, and a short explanation. Every fix is also tagged by type, so you see whether it was grammar, spelling, word choice, a der/die/das article, or a case. The conversation runs entirely on your device, so nothing you type is sent away to be checked.
What KLUG flags, and how
After each message you send, the AI looks at your sentence and returns the corrections that matter most, capped at two so you are never buried. A correction shows three things: the exact piece of your text that was off, the corrected wording, and a one-sentence explanation of why, written in German to keep you inside the language.
Each correction also carries a type drawn from a fixed set:
- Grammar (Grammatik) for sentence-structure and form errors.
- Spelling (Rechtschreibung) for misspelled words.
- Word choice (Wortwahl) when the word is real but not the right one here.
- Article (Artikel) for a wrong der, die, or das.
- Case (Kasus) when the noun's case ending is off.
Seeing the label, not just the fix, is the point: over time you notice which type trips you up most, which is exactly where German learners get stuck.
Correction while you converse, not on a separate worksheet
The corrections appear inline as you chat in KLUG, so you fix a mistake in the same place you made it, while the sentence is still fresh.
